"Actually, no," she says. "Um, I'm from Charlotte and that was never a big deal out there. It's kind of a college town?"

She squeaks with the question mark at the end because she's realizing that there are probably a lot of things that he could say she hasn't done. Spending all that time trying to make detective doesn't leave a lot of tree time and when you enjoy Scrabble and Bond movies, you don't get out a lot either.

A shrug. "Truth is I don't get out as much as I'd like. It's work, and then I usually stay in with a Bond movie or a board game. And when I'm in London...then it's even crazier. Does that make me boring?" she quips, but she's not sure.

She likes this guy. If she hadn't already found the man of her dreams, he might have had a chance.
